Typearms is a series of 34 digital art pieces that explores the relationship between typography and anatomy. This connection is drawn through the natural evolutionary properties of language in human history, and uses a modern medium to express that the growth in language and writing systems is akin to growth itself. Letters, words, and languages all hold a malleable adaptability; an ability to change depending on their environment or time. Meanings begin, grow, join, move, break, twist, stretch, and die.
