A word-making book with prefixes, morphemes, and suffixes arranged to allow for over six million new words, with coherent definitions.
I had been inspired to create a project that examines how prefixes, morphemes, and suffixes carry meaning, and how their interaction creates definition. I selected prefixes, noun-related morphemes, verb-related morphemes, and suffixes, seeking to create a coherent definition with every combination, and I achieved this via their grammatical formatting.
Many variations arose to draw close attention to the words and their definitions. Pages were risograph printed and spiral bound. Supernormaceptology acts as a fun, interesting, thought-provoking tool which allows for the genuine definition of millions of words, both in use and never read before.
